The Best Of Sept '09 
1 Sept - results came out today but i couldn't check because i had to have my candidate number which was on the exam notification slip which i happily threw away after my last paper so now everyone but me knows their results and everyone graduated with second lower class honours i suppose i would too but i really really want second upper class honours i think i deserve it after having studied so hard and sacrificing an extra month at P+F and sacrificing my skin which i've already accepted that it might never ever fully recover. spent the day with andrea and natalie in JB and it was really fun i had a good time! we had Mcdonalds for brunch and ordered three meals but they ended up giving us like double of those three meals hahaha! and natalie convinced me saying it would mean an extra ice-cream and i just can't say no to ice-cream can i though in the end we didn't get an extra ice-cream. anyway karma befell us and natalie's bag got cut haha! and the cab ride to the seafood place was hilarious nat actually told the driver the chinese name of the destination and he was an indian man you should have seen the stunned look on his face it was so funny haha! dinner was so good and just so cheap we had cereal crayfish and prawns with salted eggs and yam ring and frog leg and just so much more i love seafood with salted eggs yum yum yum!
4 Sept - went to east coast park with chan yanni to cycle. we had lunch at this korean japanese restaurant and the bibimbap that we ordered was really really good now i know what to have the next time i'm at ECP. i like being in the car on the road especially when i'm eating Macs' cornetto ice-cream and have the air-con blowing at my face and freezing to death haha it is a really nice feeling after hours of cycling and perspiring. in the evening it was back to Barossa for drinks and after xuan lover and i spent the night at like the kopitiam and void deck talking about things of long ago we really are turning old why do we keep talking about the past? i'm really disgusted by myself i actually have been out the entire day and night without a bath and being sticky and filthy after cycling eeeew!
12 Sept - holiday with jessica! we took a coach to Malacca and the hotel was really really lousy the guy at the reception knew instantly who we were the moment we stepped in we must have been the only ones checking in that day haha and the room was really terrible especially the toilet and i really really don't know how to bathe with undetachable showers i don't know how anyone can do it! we had chicken rice balls for lunch but it wasn't that fantastic and then we spent ages trying to find the busstop and then ended up on a cab instead and then from the bus terminal took a bus but didn't know where to alight and ended up back at the terminal in the end we just stuck to cabs haha! we went to Christchurch and A'Famosa Fort and had really delicious nyonya food for dinner and only after our dinner did i find the restaurant i was looking for! and the people there are really weird they kept asking us not to order too much food as they think we can't finish and the drink bottles there are weird too i don't know why they are sealed so tightly we can never open them and always have to ask for help. in the night we headed to Jonker Street and i like that place i love Geographers' cafe too good music!
13 and 14 Sept - took a bus to KL and there were only three people on the bus the two of us and our stalker haha there was this guy whom we saw on the bus in Malacca and then in A'Famosa and then in Jonker Street and then again on the bus! our hotel in KL was so much better it was such a relief the shower was detachable and there was wi-fi! we spent the longest time ever finding the Islamic Art Museum and after asking many people and walking all over and perspiring like crazy we gave up and ended up at Petaling Street instead which is a horrible place unless you're a huge fan of fake branded goods and disgusting men. went to KLCC and watched 'the ugly truth' which was really really funny i loved the show plus it was really cheap only 12 ringgit on a sunday! the next day we went to Batu Caves and we had to climb up this really long flight of stairs and it was kinda scary because there were many monkeys around! for like years i've been wanting to go to the Pavilion and we went after and it was disappointing really there wasn't much i loved the Juicy Couture store though and upon entering the Forever21 store i was so excited but i ended up leaving empty handed very very sad! we had yummy Baskin Robbins though so that made me happy then we ended up at Dome at Lot10 just wasting time away before our flight back. i want to go to Langkawi! when is my next holiday?
15 Sept - had dinner with the bitch at Palm Beach Seafood at One Fullerton and the food was just soooooo good we had like 1.3kg of chilli crab golden almond prawns you tiao toufu mantou seafood fried rice and every single dish was just so good i was so happy because nothing makes me happier than having really really good food haha! something really really embarrassing happened after the dinner though and it is situations like this that i am reminded once more that i have to marry a rich guy! and my dad says we can go there for dinner to celebrate my birthday so i'm really excited i've already decided what dishes we should order!
16 Sept - had a picnic with grace and we had such good food what with honey roasted chicken barbecued pork ribs youtiao butterfly hum chin peng sushi and whatnot we were on this island away from the main island itself and i think we must have looked really cute in similar flowery dresses. we went to Ikea for abit and had meatballs yum yum then it was back to my place for dinner and facebook and TV and a bottle of hoegarden i love simple happy days like this!
18 Sept - mummy cooked the most delicious cereal prawns for lunch today and yesterday we had chilli crab for dinner and the chocolate banana cake from Awfully Chocolate after i think the best day of my life would be chocolates for breakfast peking duck for lunch ice-cream for tea chilli crab and cereal prawns for dinner and chocolate cakes for supper and then i won't be able to walk out of the door haha. i was fatface's hair model for the afternoon and i really like the hairstyle done so pretty! it made me so tempted to perm my hair i like the messy bombshell look! in the evening had ice-cream buffet with the weirdest combination of people then it was to jingwei's place for overnight mahjong and i think i won the most!
26 Sept - my dearest lover's birthday we spent the entire day together! had buffet lunch at Trader's Hotel and the variety and food were really disappointing i'm never going for lunch buffets again dinner buffets are so much more worth it! walked around DFS and i really really like the Loewe bag i need a full time job i need money i have a bag to buy! had dinner at Picotin the food was good and the place was nice just that it was so hot! anyway i think i'm really turning into the most boring person i'm only interested in eating and drinking if we're not going to eat good food nor are we going to drink drink drink don't ask me out i'm not interested. i'm going to put back on the weight i lost! already, i'm missing those happy days!

& i miss so. 
have you ever missed something so very much that it brings tears to your eyes and makes you want to cry? today i miss my old life of once upon just so much. i miss my colleagues i miss my O i miss the place where i laughed till my cheeks hurt the place where i was just so happy the place where my heart is. i miss bumping into my O when i turn round the corners. i miss mr T. i miss hearing my colleague's funny stories my boss' snide remarks my colleague's ridiculous comments i miss having my colleague and i secretly looking at bags online and msn all day about shopping shopping and more shopping. i miss the toilet and the hugeass mirror i miss going to the water cooler for the millionth time happily swinging my bottle the one with the printout of a picture sent by my O i miss sneaky sideway peaks at my O on the way to the photocopier i miss colleagues from the other departments shouting for me from across the office and stuffing candies and chocolates and whatnot into my hands. i miss the corridor where my O used to stare at me while we were walking toward each other and years later it was that same corridor that he smiled at me for the very first time.
i miss movex i miss red files i miss huge dusty stacks of paper i miss the freezing storeroom and the tall ladder i miss the water coolers i miss the vending machines i miss the lift with the mirror i miss my chair all comfy with my penguin cushion i miss my tiny table looking all pink and pretty i miss my three pink calculators i miss my mousepad i miss my white school shoes i miss the awful looking overall i even miss packing i miss my staff card i miss tapping my card i miss the security guard who never fails to say good morning and goodbye and who is always extra nice and smiley i miss the cleaner who has an accent so strong i never hear clearly what she's going on and on about the one who asked if she could take a picture of me the one who calls me sleeping beauty and is always happy to see me whenever i visit. why do the happiest bits of life always have to remain as memories rather than the present? why doesn't happiness last forever?
